Digital Downloads – Printing Tips

Printing your new digital downloads can be exciting! We do, however, recommend the following if you are thinking of taking this path.

• Ensure your printer is a high quality inkjet and use genuine ink tanks
• Use matte or satin photo paper for soft nursery tones
• Choose a heavyweight paper (at least 200gsm) for durability
• Select the highest quality setting in your printer settings
• Once printer, remove promptly from the printer and place on a clean, dry surface
• Although not necessary these days, allow a little time before placing the prints in frames

💡 Recommended Paper Types:

• Matte photo paper (for non-glare, soft look)
• Fine art paper (for a professional, textured finish)
• Bright white cardstock (a good budget option)

Kmart Photo Centre
Kmart’s Photo Centres provide affordable printing options for photos and canvas prints. You can upload your digital art online and pick up the prints at your nearest Kmart store. You can even purchase your photo frames at the same time.
